About Author

Professionally, Troy’s journey began in 1989 as a graphic designer, where his eye for detail and love for visual storytelling took root. As technology evolved, he grew with it, expanding into web and visual design. By 1997, his passion for illustration, narrative, and faith converged into the earliest sketches of a new kind of hero and a new kind of world. Those ideas slowly became The Knighthawk Saga—a story that has been “baking” in his heart for nearly three decades.

Troy Martin Lee

Troy Lee is a faith-driven creator from Baltimore, Maryland, whose life has always been wrapped in sound, color, and story. Raised in a home where his parents, John and Florence, filled the air with music and creativity, Troy’s father sketched and painted as well. He also played Guitar, Organ/Keyboard, and Sang. Troy, along with his brothers—David, Dale, and Johnny—played and performed. That fusion of visual art and live music lit his imagination early and never let go.

Troy went on to study at the Baltimore School for the Performing Arts, spending four years immersed in dance, music (vocal and instrumental), visual arts, and theater alongside classmates like Tupac Shakur and Jada Pinkett. Unsure which lane to choose because he loved them all, he ultimately majored in music—convinced that creativity was a God-given gift he had no right to waste.

The Knighthawk Saga - Part 1

Today, Troy doesn’t just write his saga—he scores it. His original music, including pieces like “Dust Draw” and “Park Heights Symphony,” is crafted to pull readers even deeper into the universe of Knighthawk, paying tribute to the streets, struggle, and resilience of his hometown Baltimore. For Troy, The Knighthawk Saga is more than a series; it’s a God-given vision and a sacred responsibility. It proves that when art, music, and imagination are surrendered to purpose, they can become something far greater than the creator himself.
